Alinco EDX-2 Automatic Random-Length Antenna Tuners are designed to work with select Alinco HF transceivers. These antenna tuners may be used for non-resonant verticals, wire antennas and mobile installations.
Functional on 3.5 to 30 MHz with only a 3-meter long element; a 12-meter element allows operation from 1.6 MHz up. Fully automatic and powered by your Alinco transceiver, these versatile, rugged and weatherized tuners are rated for a full 200 watts PEP. Although designed specifically for Alinco transceivers, check your Alinco transceiver manual’s “options” section for guaranteed compatibility. The Alinco EDX-2 is an automatic antenna tuner principally designed for the DX70T and DX77T.
It can operate over 3.5 to 30 MHz with a 10 foot (3 m) or larger antenna. It can operate from 1.8 to 30 MHz with a 40 foot (12 m) or larger element. Maximum input power is 200 watts PEP. Input impedance is 50 ohms. It requires 13.8 VDC.
