C Program Files Windows Live Mail Wlmail Exercises
I can receive my e-mails through my ISP using Window Live Mail but I can't send e-mails. Everytime I tried to send I get following error message: 'A TCP/IP error occurred while trying to connect to the server. Subject 'test' Server:'My ISP mail provider's e-mail account' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC15 Protocol: SMTP Port: 25 Secure(SSL): No' I checked with my service provider, they tried different thing still still the same. I use Mcafee, I checked and found the following message; ' 4:20:10 PM Blocked by port blocking rule C: Program Files (x86) Windows Live Mail wlmail.exe Anti-virus Standard Protection:Prevent mass mailing worms from sending mail IP address' I had XP and I never had this problem. Follow these: 1. Right-click the McAfee icon, click VirusScan Console. Right-click Access Protection, then click Properties. In the Rules list, select 'Prevent mass-mailing worms from sending mail', click Edit. Under 'Processes to exclude', add wlmail.exe to the list.
